One of the best duets of all time...,

To even consider this song not a masterpiece would make you absolutely crazy! After I heard it the first, I wasn't too impressed, but the more you listen to it, the better it gets. It grows and grows and now I finally, after hearing it a few more times, I realized how amazing it truly is.
'Almost Here', first of all, is a gorgeous song with beautiful lyrics. Brian's rocky tenor voice is complemented perfectly with Delta's pure, smooth voice. Their is a reason why this song has hit no. 1 in almost every country and if you havn't heard this song, do your self a favor and listen to it. It one of the best duets ever.

Excellent Song,
This review is from: Almost Here 1 (Audio CD)
Admittedly this song is a little more for the slow music lovers, but the lyrics are really beautiful and moving. The music to back it up is fitting, and the entire song really makes sense the way it has been produced, unlike many other songs. I recommend this song to anyone who has a love for the more down to earth appreciation of original music.

Buy it for Hollow No More,

Hollow No More is a far superior song to Almost Here (which is pretty drippy). I love Delta's music but AH is disappointingly bland. However, HNM has a catchy tune and takes total advantage of the contrast between Brian's huskiness and Delta's total smoothness. So if this is ever re-released, make sure you buy it because there's no other (legal) way to obtain HNM.

Amazing Duet by Two Great Vocalists,

Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem are absolutely made for each other as this great track so vehemently portrays. Brian was such a vital portion of the Westlife mixture that when he decided to leave the Irish boyband, one was apprehensive for both his and the band's future. But it's looking more and more clear that Brian would carry on with his solo career. "Almost Here" is a fantastic and touching song that shows the versatality of this brilliant pop artist. The gorgeous Delta Goodrem is of course at her typical best and she and Brian complement each other so well. The music is sharply pervading to the ear and you bore it on your lips even after you've stopped listening to the song. Brian McFadden's voice is overwhelmed with pathos and Delta Goodrem's charm and penetrating voice is a treat to the ears.

Hollow No More,

For those of you who are fans of either Brian OR Delta OR of course both, I would highly recommend this CD. Not only for the track Almost Here (which is great but prehaps not the best work from either artist), but for Hollow No More the B Side. Hollow No More was written by both Delta and Brian (and Steve the guiterist), and is amazing, persoanlly I prefer it to Almost Here, and many have said the same.
Give this single a chance, Hollow No More makes it worth the money if you have this song on either of the artists albums

One of the worst Duets of all Time,
By Robert "Dreamer" (Sydney, Australia) - See all my reviews

I wonder what is so good about this pathetic, only depressing uninspirational dull Duet Almost Here Duet. I find it totally awful, just horrible, lyrically substandard - Like many on the depressive melancholical Songs in the charts nowdays - A Dull Melancholical 08/15 totally depressive tearjerker, not even deserving the 1 Star I have to give it. I find it sad that some reviewers lack the sensitivity to even realize this. Brian McFadden who I find got such an awful voice and got others who agreed on this, should have not sung with lovely Delta, as a avid Delta Fan obviously more upset and sad. So I recomend any avid music fan, that is sick of 08/15 depressive dull uninpirational Songs, to not buy this and look for example for Tina Arenas In Deep ALbum or her best Hits Album and listen to I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You (Ft Marc Anthony) though musical tinged, this Duett is far better than this pathetic Almost Here, which I hope soon to dissapear as hast as it came. Very Sad.

Totally Uninspirational and Depressing...Oh No!,

I'm deeply dissapointed that Aussie Superstar Delta Goodrem releases this pathetic totally stale dry melancholical depressing Ballad with Ex Westlife Singer Brian McFadden "Almost Here", which I find the worst Song on the Mistaken Identity Album, total uninspirational and stale. It may be of interest for Brian McFadden Fans, but for Delta Goodrem Fans and other Music Fans hating such 08/15 melacholical ballads one finds enough in the media, I sadly say No Recomendation, the 1 Star Rating obviously underlining this! - Very dissapointing!
