Almost Like a Song,
By Carol Rae "Carol Levergood" (Springfield, Mo.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Almost Like A Song (Paperback)
When I began to read Almost Like a Song, I became immediately captured by the characters. The plot unfolded beautifully and I was intrigued with the writer's ability to keep my attention as if I were present watching from a distance. I was especially amazed at how the author was able to show Hannah's strong faith in God and how it touched so many around her. The pureness of the gospel presented was refreshing to see. I would read any other book this author puts out. Carol Levergood

An engaging, inspirational, worthy, wonderfully good book! Almost Like a Song is one of the most enjoyable books I've read in awhile. The author's exceptional ability to paint a vivid picture made the story come to life...I found myself so caught up that I couldn't put the book down! Looking forward to the next book by Delia Latham; this is good literature, good reading.

Ms. Latham starts with a breathtaking backdrop of the Yosemite area for her inspiritional romance. She then lets us become a part of Hannah John's life as she searches for her own answers to a turbulant life and trusts God for the destiny of her son's and her own future. A future only God could envision.

Wonderful Inspirational Romance Novel!,

This review is from: Almost Like A Song (Paperback)
"Almost Like A Song" by Delia Latham is a romance novel but also an adventure in the life of Hannah Johns. Delia is blessed with such an exceptional talent to describe the surroundings and events taking place that the reader feels like they are right there. Delia's own faith in God provided the faith she applied into the character of Hannah Johns.
"Almost Like A Song" is a deeply heartfelt story of a Christian woman who finds herself to be a single mother struggling to make the best of what life has handed her. She never gives up her faith in God and wants her friends to know Him and love Him as she does. This is a beautiful romance novel full of faith, hope, and love that will encourage you on your life's journey. Once started reading the book, you will find it hard to put down as you anxiously wonder what will happen next. Well done, Delia! Thanks!

A GREAT READ!,

Delia Latham's debut novel, "Almost Like A Song", was like a breath of fresh air. Set in northern California, Ms. Latham's descriptions of the natural beauty of Yosemite National Park are appealing and visual. Characters and storyline alike are well-developed and remind us that the Lord has a plan for our lives, especially during the times when we can't understand why our lives aren't working out the way we'd planned. I eagerly await Mrs. Latham's upcoming release, "Goldeneyes." After reading "Almost Like A Song", I know that this author will soon have a large flock of faithful readers.
