Things are heating up in Sweet Valley and it's not only the unusual humidity. For three reasons. One,Todd and Liz are living together. Now they really live up to Jessica's phrase "like a married couple" Unfortunenatly, they're acting like a marriage on the brink of divorce. The reasons lead to reasons 2 and 3. 1.0 out of 5 stars From Reading the Previous Reviews, Teens are Being Misled
This book was interesting, but gave a completely false view of real life. Why? If two 16 year olds were to move in together in real life (I am 14), they would most likely end up having sex. It's not that they are sickos or something, it is just how our society acts and pushes them to do. No matter what their age, boyfriend and girlfriends should not live together...

Two, Elizabeth discovers something shocking: her mother and Bruce Patman's father were once married! Elizabeth goes into a fit, trying to discover more and working with Bruce Patman which leads to Reason 3. It seems that the couple of long ago is now repeating itself in Liz and Bruce, as they find they have a indispicable attraction:to each other! Admist the heat and romance of picture-perfect Sweet Valley, a sad truth is revealed: BRUCE'S PARENTS ARE GETTING A DIVORCE! Does this have anything to do with blonde, blue-eyed Mrs. Wakefield? Is the so-called "business trip" a cover-up of something bigger? Beside the humidity, Sweet Valley is rapidly becoming scarred from a burning, deadly fire. Will the scars ever heal? Will the ashes of the past lay down to rest again? Will the picture-perfect town of Sweet Valley ever be picture-perfect again. READ AND FIND OUT!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars CRAZY, September 23, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Almost Married (Sweet Valley High) (Paperback)
This book was great! Especially when Todd caught Bruce and Elizabeth kissing in the kitchen, and the only reason they was kissing was because while they were trying to find out if Liz's mother was having an affair with Bruce's dad and what caused them to get married before they even had them. And as they got deeper into finding out the more they got involved. The end was also good but I won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to get the book. Gotta go now "C" Yeah

5.0 out of 5 stars -Great Book-, March 30, 2000
By A Customer
This is a great book I would recomend! Elizabeth finds out hermother is having an affair with Hank Patman, Bruce Patmans father. Tomake sure of it her and Bruce investigate. She finds a picture of her mother and Hank getting married! All Jessica is worried about is if this will make her more popular or less popular! I have read other Sweet Valley High books and this is one of the best!

I think it was really cool but that Liz should have broken up with Todd. They have been going out for to long. Bruce and Liz are perfect match. For me Pam is a geek. She would be the perfect match with Todd.[not that Todd is a geek].You should read it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Liz and Todd share troubles, December 11, 1998

This review is from: Almost Married (Sweet Valley High) (Paperback)
This was so funny! All the situations Todd got caught in were hilarious. Especially the bubbles at the Laundromat. And Liz kept leaving Todd for Bruce. I felt Kind of bad for Bruce.

It's not that they are sickos or something, it is just how our society acts and pushes them to do. No matter what their age, boyfriend and girlfriends should not live together. Francine Pascal sends out some very mixed signals about what teens should be doing in this book. I was really upset after reading this! It is very unrealistic and morally confusing--and whether or not someone says, morals DO matter.
