The cast Alnico 5 bridge magnet with red coating offers high heat resistance and medium magnetic pull. Cast Alnico is produced with aluminum, nickel, and cobalt with iron, and small amounts of other metals. The magnet provides a maximum of 30 lb. of pull strength to a perpendicular surface (pounds of pull strength does not apply to shear force). The magnet can withstand temperatures up to 975 degree F and has a 0.20" diameter hole on top. It comes with a keeper to retain magnetic strength. Resistance to demagnetizing is low and resistance to corrosion is high.
