Love this coffee. Hard to find 100% Kona in the single pods. this pods are big and full and still fit in the tray fine. Box is a bit expensive, but the only kind I could find, so you pay what they're asking I guess.

I purchased the Senseo machine a few years ago as a way to get a convenient cup of coffee every morning without having to spend more than a dollar a day. The problem, though, is the machine doesn't produce a great cup of coffee with the standard coffee you get at the grocery store. I was hopeful that the Kona Pods would be much better. And, indeed they are. I particularly like the individually wrapped packages. The store-bought coffee tends to get stale after a few days, so having the Kona Pods individually wrapped makes them so much fresher. My only issue is that the cost is a bit more than a dollar a cup. (But, I knew that when I bought them.)

BTW, another good thing is they put a couple more grams of coffee in each pod (10g vs. 7g). I would normally use 2 (7g) pods and pump a total of 3 single servings of water. With these, I just use 1 pod and pump 2 single servings of water to get the right strength.

Bottom Line: If you are using the Senseo machine, this is probably some of the best coffee you will get from it.

This is supposed to be high quality Kona coffee, and it is very good, but I guess part of having Kona coffee is the atmosphere. We have warm humid breezes in Tennessee, but we are missing the ocean, volcanoes and the Hawaiian laid back lifestyle that is different from our Tennesse laid back lifestyle. This coffee is earthly and stronger than most and roasted a little darker, but not burnt, which is the way I like it. Sugar or cream will change its taste significantly, so try it black if you can. Though quite expensive in comparison to other coffees, except for maybe Blue Jamaica, I think you deserve a treat from time to time. I am sorry I could not rate it with 5 stars, its just not quite as good as I remembered it to be in Hawaii. Unfortunately, I am not sure that my memories are as good as they used to be either so I rate them as 4 stars as well. If you like Kona coffee, I am sure you will like the Aloha Island 100% pure Kona, but maybe not quite as well as the memories you have if you have spent time in Hawaii. Do not waste your money and try to save a few bucks on other coffees that may advertise as Kona. They are permitted to use the Kona name so long as 20% of their blend is real Kona. Make sure the coffee is labeled 100% pure Kona and enjoy a cup for me.
