'A' is for Aloha,
By A Customer
This review is from: A is for Aloha (Hardcover)
This is a unique book with interesting black and white photos of mostly Hawaiian objects. Cute kids and nice photography. Although I thought of better suggestions for a couple letters, I still love the book. I picked up two for gifts while on Kauai, and plan to order more. This is a neat way to expose children to other cultures that are actually a part of our country!

Beautiful photography and view of Hawaii from a child's point of view. It's so lovely to see beautiful and human interactions depicted. And it's especially wonderful for photographs of the many children of a variety of ethnic backgrounds who live in the islands.

I never actually used it, but my girlfriend had to take it on a mission trip and use it to teach Ukrainian kids how to pronounce english letters and some words. Looked like a good book for teaching some basic phonics.
