This exquisite "coffee table" book is full of the emotions of the real West! Being a horse-person myself, I can feel the beauty and the energy from the great photography in this book. Richard Dawson is known for his wonderful western photographs. Unfortunately he chose to partner with an inexperienced writer that is unable to produce anything of value to add to this book. As a coffee table book, this would have been so much better if the text had been left out and the pictures were all that it contained. Tammy LeRoy should try to find another...

This exquisite "coffee table" book is full of the emotions of the real West! Being a horse-person myself, I can feel the beauty and the energy from the great photography in this book. Robert Dawson really captures the moment with his photography. These are photos of areas and activities that some people from the East would love to experience; and those that some of us have experienced and can relive through this book.

Richard Dawson is known for his wonderful western photographs. Unfortunately he chose to partner with an inexperienced writer that is unable to produce anything of value to add to this book. As a coffee table book, this would have been so much better if the text had been left out and the pictures were all that it contained. Tammy LeRoy should try to find another occupation and leave the writing to someone with talent, style and a reasonable vocabulary.
