Very informative! I recommend this book to anyone who grew up in the Islip area. The information regarding early Islip residents is fascinating. Read and learn what an interesting place your little town is! This is by far the most targeted history of the Islip resident.

What a sweet trip down memory lane. Havemeyer covers it all. Must reading for anyone interested in the history of the Islips. Very comprehensive and informative.
