The book is bite size allowing a young reader to understand. The book is the birth of a Nile crocodiles in Zambia. A decent amount of simple information. The reader will gain seasonal and habitat information. After the story there is more information and pictures. The organization is very good. The story is important but a younger child may reach saturation. If not the River information, floodplain information and than pictorial glossary with a four page foldout picture inside the glossary. The foldout is another river and animal picture.
