This book is most helpful. It is one of the most comprehensive books about A. CANO. Therefore I needed it for a work on this sculptor, architect and painter. A proper daughtsman too. But I have to state that A. Cano is definitively not at the level of Michel-Angelo...but Cano's work is not so bad. I hope that Wethey's book will help me find out who has one of Cano's genuine painting. Therefore I do not regret this buy from amazon.com. The book is serious but no fun. Meanwhile reading it one yawns.
