I have owned this scope for approx 1 1/2 years and have been very pleased. The view is very clear even at max magnification which is a necessity when using it to sight in rifles at long distance targets. It is very well made and durable and the aluminum carrying case is a big plus. I have not used more expensive scopes but after using this one I don't feel the need to.
In fact, the next pair of binoculars I buy will be from Alpen.
