This is a very nice, sturdy mount that fits my Celstron Skymaster 15x70s nicely. Does eliminate most if not all of the horrible wobble introduced by the flimsy plastic mount included with the Skymasters. I would give it a 5 out of 5 if it wasn't so darn expensive.

The item is cheaply cast out of soft aluminum and also has an aluminum screw that's nearly worthless. It looks like it should cost $1.99, not $15! I've seen better quality items at the 99 Cents Store! The threads on the screw aren't very good and it doesn't hold tight but it can be replaced with an ordinary 1/4" screw when it breaks.

The adapter is strong and rigid and fits my Celestron 15x70 giants nicely. It doesn't tighten fully though so it's easy for me to twist the binoculars and this ends up loosening the adapter. In other words, it doesn't hold the binoculars rock steady like I expected. If you are looking for a solid adapter, this is not it! If you are just starting out, like I am, it's good enough.
