5.0 out of 5 stars Nice optics for the price
I'm a bit rough on binocs, and the don't seem to have a very long life span around me.
I got this pair used, for a great price, which was much incentive for my purchase.
Though I really haven't had the chance to take them "out for the day" yet, I've used them briefly.
They easily focused in for me without any trouble. They are a little heavier than I was...

2.0 out of 5 stars Work Great! Until they break.
I hate leaving a negative review for these. I have had them for over a year, and I liked them so much that I got my Dad a pair. Unfortunately, his broke immediately. I wasn't sure what happened, but the image was misaligned, so you couldn't focus on anything. I assumed it was a fluke. He sent them back under warranty and they sent him a new pair (for a fee, not sure...

They easily focused in for me without any trouble. They are a little heavier than I was expecting, though not unreasonable. I may consider a harness for them at some point.
Twist-ups move freely. Strap is nicer than the usual shoe string you get with a pair.
They have the lens caps attached, and came with the "rain cap" as well as the case.
I would recommend these for someone who isn't quite ready to go spend $$$$ for a set yet.
I'll update if I run into anything to add.

Edit 5-14-11
I've had these several weeks now, and they ROCK. Nuff said.

Turns out it wasn't a fluke. I dropped these about about 2.5 feet in the case recently. I didn't think it was a big deal, although I never want to drop a precision instrument like these. I look through them, and they are misaligned. My conclusion is that these things are just not durable. Any abuse and they will break.

They work beautifully until they break though.

The image is clear and bright. The center focus and right eye focus control were easy to use. Came with a comfortable neck strap which would be great for outdoor viewing. Great price and good value!
