I own a couple of really inexpensive monoculars. I ordered this one because of the long eye relief. When I received this monocular the first thing I noticed is that it is larger in size (diameter) than my less expensive models. The optics themselves are larger, thus the greater light gathering potential. The fatter diameter with the ergonomic grip makes for a comfortable and steady grip. This is important as these are 10 power. Now I don't have to remove my eyeglasses to look through this monocular, and it focuses closer, which is great for watching birds on my patio feeders. Image brightness, long eye relief, what more could you want?

I got this monocular for kayaking, hiking and birding as an alternative to my binoculars. It works great, even holding and focusing it one handed is fairly easy with a little practice. Great magnification for the price. It doesn't weigh too much or take up too much space, a must for backpacking and camping. The waterproof and fogproof house are essential as well. The only con is the fabric case it comes with--it has a velco flap top and doesn't keep out dirt and sand. Ideally it would be a bit more asthetical and functional. It does come with a microfiber cleaning cloth. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and will consider getting another (higher power) monocular from this company.

I bought one of these to use for birding a few months ago. At first I was shocked at the quality! Better than anticipated! It makes things look brighter and it's easy to focus. Lightweight and durable. I'd buy one again without hesitation!

This is very nice and a good value. It is not as good as my Nikon but that costs four times as much. I bought this to use on our boat.

This monocular is no replacement for a good pair of binoculars, but they are perfect for taking on walks when you don't want to carry those bulky binoculars. The image quality is very good, and powerful enough so you can really see something. Because they are so light and fit in a jacket pocket I never go for a walk without them. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I was hesitant to get this over the Barska and Bushnell, but basing it on the photo, the design seems more sturdy, I haven't tried the extent of its "waterproofness" but as far as function, it serves it purpose.
The focusing dial seems tight, not a good thing when you're in a hurry to focus on your subject, but I'm sure this is for waterproof purposes.
Pretty well made, everything seems really tight.
The pouch is also well made for a less than U$60 item.

Am an avid squirrel hunter and just loved the difference my monocular has made for me to identify the "long shots" that I love to take.
