Directions
Use Morning and NightWash face with Alpha Hydrox Nourishing Cleanser or Foaming Face Wash. Apply Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion to face and neck. Do not rinse off. For daytime, use a sunscreen. Alpha Hydrox Sheer Silk Moisturizer with SPF 15 is recommended. Note: For first time users and those with sensitive skin should do a patch test first.
Avoid contact in eyes, on eyelids, lips and other mucous membranes. If contact occurs in eyes, flush with water. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Quickly approaching (a still, sadly, rather vain) age 40, I have personally spent a small fortune over the years trying to slow the aging process and reverse the effects of too many days spent gardening without sunscreen. I cannot even begin to list all the products I've somewhat foolishly gambled on to get my skin looking better. This product--and several other products offered through the company NEOTERIC (all under the Alpha Hydrox brand)--are exactly the answer I've been looking for. I've used them both alone and in conjunction with a more expensive brand of anti-aging products (for which I've also left good reviews on this site), and I can see great improvements both ways.
I decided to try this brand of alpha hydroxy cream after reading in Dr. Oz's (and Dr. Roizen's) book You: Staying Young: The Owner's Manual for Extending Your Warranty (You). I'd tried several other alpha hydroxy products before this one (i.e. ROC, etc.) and must say this particular line (ALPHA HYDROX) is far superior to any other I've used. That it is also apparently considerably less expensive than most is icing on the cake, in my book.
Regarding this product, I find the key is to use it AT LEAST once a day, and always after using a mild cleanser. At my age I still get acne and, despite my sometimes manic picking, I notice it (and any residual puffiness or redness, and resulting scarring) clears up much, much more quickly than it used to. Also, my skin breaks out much less than before I used this. The tone and color of my skin are far improved when compared to prior to using this product.... Read more ›

I have used this product for years and was so disappointed when it seemed most of my local store stopped selling it. I am 38 and prone to acne, mostly on a monthly basis. I tend to be intermittantly lazy in applying skin care products, but what I always loved about this one is that if my skin started looking dull or breakouts were starting, by applying this as an overnight treatment it really seemed to nip it in the bud. It goes on very thin and light and by the next day my skin would be much fresher and clearer. Also, the AHA % is very high for a product in this price range and for 6 oz you just can't beat it.

Alpha Hydrox was recommended to me by a dermatologist YEARS ago. Thank goodness! I have better skin than anyone my age that I know. You can buy products that are much more expensive but nothing works as well as this does. TRY IT!

When I was 35 I began getting an abnormal amount of wrinkles for my age, so I began reading all the anti-aging info I could find and invested in Nuskin products which I really loved. I also had regular stress-related pimples and scars from past acne. Seeing the glycolic acid content, I tried Alpha Hydrox Face Lotion and in a very short time saw noticeable improvements. What was most comforting was that my very ugly purse-lines on my upper lip started to smooth out and my eye and smile lines softened as well.
At first the sting bothered me a little, but I thought about what a chemical peal does and realized that it was a sign it was working. Before very long my skin stopped stinging from it and hasn't been bothered since despite daily use. I had previously tried other products and found them to either be sticky or antagonize my skin. Benzoyl Peroxide, for example, caused acne breakouts and I then learned that I had sensitive skin and watched my product ingredients to avoid ongoing problems. I washed daily with a mild antibacterial soap, followed by Loreal's pH Toner, and then the Alpha Hydrox (back then the regular face lotion was 12% glycolic acid). I also did Nuskin's pore-cleaning mud packs 1-2 times a week followed with the Alpha Hydrox - I learned keeping the pores empty helped reduce skin damage that caused wrinkling too. I also never left my face unprotected - I used Alpha Hydrox Lotion with sunscreen during the day and the regular AHA lotion at night. I couldn't believe all the compliments that came my way - everyone started telling me I looked so young and my skin was so beautiful; all my friends wanted me to teach them how to have the same results.... Forget about those expensive and fancy products that cost 10 times more. This is the product you see immediate result. It also helps with pimples and discolorations with acne scars. I have people come up to me and ask me many times on what product I am using on my face. It works wonders. Don't waste your money on the expensive stuff any more. You will be very happy with this brand.

I have used this moisturizer every morning for many many years. It is cost effective when most other product lines are very expensive. The results are fantastic. I have women ask me all the time how I keep my face wrinkle free. I share this product info. w/ everyone. It's awesome. It's mild. It has no strong perfume smell. I wear it with or without makeup and I never leave it behind on travel or vacations. If you want to give your face or any part of your body a nice rich moisture treatment daily...use this. It's the best!
