We enjoyed watching this movie as a family. It had fun entertaining adventure for all to enjoy. Our kids are 7 and 8 years old. The movie duration is shorter than the usual 90 minute movies. It was 45 - 49 minutes, which suited our needs. We downloaded it as a 24 hour instant video rental. Download was quick via cable and there were no problems watching this.

This is a very short, very cute movie good for the whole family. The story line is good, incorporating teamwork, and the value of family. Wonderful feel-good movie!

This film is fantastic, a definite must watch for any Animated movie lover. I'd recommend it over and over again. Shaun Gerardo was excellent as one of the main bad guys as well. Check it out

I had extremely severe doubts for this movie when I first heard of it, since the first one was a complete disaster, but when I watched it I was completely amazed. Its like everything that was wrong with the first one was fixed. Animation, Acting, and overall story and no over bombarding with sex jokes. This has to be my favorite animated movie of this year and I am glad I ended up pre ordering it. If your not a fan of the first, I would recommend giving this a try, it will change your mind on the series most likely. And its just as great for fans :)

In another review, someone referred to the first Alpha and Omega as a "surprise 'love it' movie." That's pretty much how I felt about it. I thought it would be too cheesy but it actually turned out to be pretty good, with developed characters that I genuinely liked, nice animation and overall an entertaining story.

Alpha and Omega 2, on the other hand, fails pretty miserably. It doesn't come close to living up to the expectations set by the first movie. The animation is bad. Even if you can overlook that, the story is clunky, uninteresting and at times doesn't make sense. Even the character's personalities have changed from the wolves that we loved in the first film.

Kate and Humprhey's pups were not nearly as endearing as they should have been (given how love-able their parents were in the first movie). They had no depth and just seemed like bland stereotypes that were, at times, slightly annoying.

Then there was the way the existing character's personalities changed. Humphrey was originally a humorous free spirit who loved to "sled ride". In this one he is suddenly reluctant to do all those crazy things because he's "old" now. Even though he still must rank among the younger wolves (seeing as Winston and Tony are still alive and the elders of the pack). All those funny omega things he used to do that the audience loved (and that seemed to make Kate love him) were suddenly not there anymore unless he was forced into it.

Eve, Kate's mother, was the hilariously homicidal mother-in-law in the first film. She was unpredictable, strong, edgy and prone to the occasionally bloody tirade. This made her unique and interesting. All that is gone in this film. She's basically part of the background.

I really don't know what most of the other reviewers are talking about. Compared to the first movie, this one wasn't a really good sequel. It does have a couple of good lessons in it, but overall I find it to pale in comparison to its predecessor.

I mean, to each his own; I'm not condemning anyone for liking the film, but I feel as though this one was a rather sketchy sequel. The ending makes no sense when you consider everything that the characters went through during the plot, and I find that the animation quality is not as good in this movie compared to the first one. Of course, I'm not really capable of animation myself, so I really have no right to be a critic; I'm just saying that I think the quality of the first movie is better than that of this one.

Oh, as an afterthought: I find that there didn't seem to be enough voice actors for all the characters; there should have been more dialogue among the rogue alphas.

Its a sequel for the sake of just making a sequel. Don't waste your time. My ten year loved the first movie and was disappointed by this one..
