3.0 out of 5 stars Reletively short mystery about blackmail and murder, November 15, 2006

This review is from: The Alpha list (Hardcover)
James Anderson's "The Alpha List" has a very interesting plot to it: what starts out as a petty criminal blackmailing a Member of Parliment leads to a much bigger crime: the systhematic blackmailing of individuals using a two-tiered system, using little secrets to blackmail those who can spill the big secrets of those on "the Alpha list" i.e those with defense secrets. The blackmail expert ends up murdered, and it falls to his widowed wife and a PI that she hired to untangle this complex web. Shocking who the real villains are.
