Great for decorating a room because of all the colors you can pull out of the cards.

The are very good quality on a heavier card stock so the won't wrinkle.

My husband and I purchased these gorgeous alphabet cards before our baby was born as we were looking for non gender-specific decorations. Now we use the letters to spell our baby's name on his nursery wall. When he is older, we will use the cards for play. The colors are lovely and the pictures are so sweet!

The cards are beautiful and good quality. I want to use as "art" for my daughters' play room. Was so pleased in looking through them until I got to where the letter G should have been and found the letter S. Thought maybe G would be where S should be - but no such luck - just another S. I'm hoping Amazon can correct this problem and I can get a G. Anyone missing a S?

The cards are packaged in a beautiful sturdy box with a ribbon, great to give as a gift! We simply used white tacks to hang them at the top of the wall, where it meets the ceiling, in my daughter's playroom. They are large enough where you can easily see them from across the room.

When my 2 year old daughter saw them she was immediately entranced by them. We had to resort to trickery to get them away from her so she wouldn't bend them before we could get them up. I love the combination of having upper- and lowercase, and a playful animal illustration to catch a child's attention.

The illustrations are cute and folksy, they have a little bit of a watercolor effect, they are not graphic or cartoony. A wide range of colors are used, red, blue, green, purple, yellow, brown, etc, to go with all kinds of decor. In each card, the foreground color is earthy mustard, the middleground is light green for grass, and the top part/sky is white. Also there is a theme of the animals either playing a musical instrument (the Monkey is playing drums), with a piece of nature (the Turtle is holding a flower), moving/traveling (the Wolf is riding a bike), or wearing one piece of clothing (the Zebra has a jester's hat on) . A few of the animal choices are a little odd, instead of using a yak for "Y", there is a yellowhammer. I would have picked "Queen bee" for "Q" instead of "Quetzel." We love these cards and consider them a great purchase.

I purchased these to use as artwork in my child's playroom. He loves the alphabet, so I thought he would enjoy this. The artwork is beautiful, fun, and charming. It also comes well packaged, so it would make a great gift.
The only problem that I had was that there are a few unusual animals that are normally not in basic flash cards.

These cards are phonetically incorrect. For example, the animal for A is armadillo. However, that is an example of an r-controlled vowel. Similarly, the animal for G is giraffe. That G makes the J sound, not the consonant sound. Although the cards are pretty, they should not be used to teach a child to read.

I put these alphabet cards up in our baby's bedroom. We do not know if we are having a girl or boy, and I thought they were a very gender neutral decor item for the wall! I will probably have them laminated in the near future.

A friend of mine had these wall cards at her house and I loved them. I bought my 18-month-old twins these cards for Christmas and put them up in their room. They love them! They point at the animals they know every time we walk in the room. It seems like they can name a new one each day. I like them because of their educational value AND because they look great in their room.

These cards are indeed adorable, but be warned - the are HUGE. It's my own fault for glossing over the dimensions in the description - I was thinking 5x7 flash card size, which they are not!! So unfortunately they won't work for my desired application, and the cost of return shipping is too much to justify sending them back. I will be using them as a gift item in the future, however, because they are very cute.
