Simple, Bold, Memorable,

This is a set of 52 cards: half are capital letters and the other half are small letters. The pictures are of ordinary household objects, and they are simple and boldly drawn. My daughter, age 2, is already learning to recognize the shapes of some of these letters. We had intended to use these just with the pictures and object names initially, but she is fascinated by the letters on the back, and already recognizes some of the more distinctively-shaped letters: z, c, and a. I highly recommend this set of cards for parents who would like to help their toddlers with vocabulary development, or parents who would like to help their preschoolers recognize shapes. Nothing fancy, but sometimes the simplest, most easy to use things, are very valuable.

There's not much to review about flashcards, but I got these ones for my son and taught him all of his letters before he turned 3 using some of the ideas that came with them. He's now 4 and we're using them to learn spelling and letter sounds. They were the only ones available when I was looking for flashcards and I've been very happy with them overall. In fact, I'm here to replace my very worn-out ones.

My daughter is 23 months old and I was looking for something to expand my repertoire of words with her. She loves these cards, in addition to using them to learn the objects (she isn't quite ready to learn letters yet)she loves to stack them, organize them and sort them. Every morning she wants me to open them up and she finds some new way to use them. For the money, they are certainly worth it. They keep her occupied independently for awhile and I feel good knowing she is using them so often and she is learning something new from them every day.

The other comments address the product accurately. My intent is to raise the pricing issue.
I paid $4.98 for these cards. I thought that was reasonable. Howeverm when I received the cards the price printed on the back of the package says US$2.99/$4.99CAN. I feel like Amazon should have only charged $2.99. I took another look at the listing and I see they are sneaky and listed it as: $2.99 + $1.99 sourcing fee. I will start watching out for this secret sourcing fee in the future on other products.

I received these and like others I noticed the pricing difference and was a bit irrated at first as well......
These are good, basic flash cards but they aren't made of very durable paper. They are very thin and I don't think they will hold up very well... For now they are okay as a starter tool for teaching my 13 month old....

I got this thinking they'd be sturdier, but unfortunately they are not. My toddler has had a fun time with them, but they do show the wear and tear from constant handling. Perhaps better suited to older kids.

niceley detailed but very thin and flimsey...they bend very easily and we were afraid to give to our child because we feared paper cuts
