My two daughters, ages 13 and 11 put both 500 piece puzzles together in less than a week and had a blast doing it!! It kept their interest during a very rainy, cold summer week with NOTHING to do! They were thrilled to solve the mystery! They've already started on B.

This was my least favorite, although I've only put together A, E, and F. The pictures for the 2 puzzles were so colorful and different, which made distinguishing them a bit easier, but not too easy. However, there was a dark patch in both puzzles that took about a week to figure out. The mystery that went with them was okay, with a couple fire based puns. It was not a hard case to solve with a few key bits of puzzle info to help.

If you don't know which alphabet puzzle (A-H) to start with, I'd suggest skipping this one. It's predictable and not nearly as funny as "F is for Feline".

We've really enjoyed putting this puzzle together. To be honest, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to sort through the two puzzles. There are lots of vivid images in the puzzle, so it was pretty easy to get the actual puzzles put together. The mystery aspect of this puzzle adds to the fun. It wasn't too hard to solve the mystery once we got the puzzles put together. We'll definitely do more of this series.

If you like difficult mystery puzzles this is for you. Although we enjoyed the challenge we didn't find the pictures on one of the puzzles to be very helpful in solving the puzzle.

This would be a great puzzle for beginning mystery puzzlers, especially kids. But even before the puzzle is put together, the answer practically hits you over the head. I knew who the killer was in about three seconds flat after having put together less than half of it.

As for durability, it is probably very strong when a kitten is not trying to devour it.

It was different working on a puzzle without a picture but it turned out to be a fun challenge. The whole family helped in solving the mystery, while the puzzle lovers built the two jigsaws. The first alphabet mystery puzzle I ordered was such a success that I bought two more.
