All I wanted to know about this toy is size of pieces. So here it is. Ta-da. 6"x6" of one piece.
Don't choose this product because of bonus blocks(like me)). Blocks are very small, very thin and only 50.
Mat is very good. I've bought it because of puzzle for each letter. I can imagine a lot of different ways to play with mat. It is really very educational, but definitely not for children under 3.
