The individual 12" foam squares are colorful, washable, and feature different textures for added stimulation and development. It includes 26 removable letters and ten removable numbers. It is completed with borders and covers up to 36 sq. ft. and made of high density EVA foam 11mm and weights 5.5 lbs. It is recommended for ages 3 years and above.

This foam mat is nice and cheap compared to others mats out there but the quality is not the best. The thickness of this play mat is on the thin side. When I first put together the mat I put it together in my living room which has carpet. This made it difficult to even walk on the mat without it falling apart. After a few weeks the mat was fine but it was a pain the first few weeks. Also the pieces don't always fit nice and snug so keeping the mat together can be a chore. If I had to do it all over again I would buy the more expensive mat jsut to save me the headaches.

The mat is OK, the pieces don't all fit together correctly and some are a bit thicker than others. In the future I would go with another brand, but for now my daughter has fun taking them apart after I put them back together.

I bought the alphabet mat for my 5 month old to play on. It provides him with a clean, bright place to play. I also think it will help him to learn his alphabet when he's older. The only problem is that its a bit thinner than I thought. It great for crawling and playing, but it doesn't provide as much cushion for a baby who tips over when he's learning to sit up.

Would not buy again.
Although this product is worth the thirteen dollars I paid for it. The quality was poor, as others have reported. I would not buy it again. You get only what you pay for.
