This is a one of a kind alphabet book that utilizes rhyme and picture to get kids guessing as you turn the page. The menagerie of animals is fun to talk about in and of itself, and repeated readings will make kids ecstatic to guess whose tail is on the page. This is a gold mine for scaffolding a child's understanding of rhyme, the alphabet, and inferring when reading.

I loved this book as a child. I am now 28 and still have my original book. When I needed a gift for a friend's child this is the book that I thought of. I was so happy to see that it is still in print. I would highly recommend this book!

My children were delighted to read this book. It is wonderfully written and nicely illustrated. The riddle for each alphabet animal makes sense and entice the children to guess the name of the animal. We love this book.
