5.0 out of 5 stars "Alphabutt, Poop, Pee, and Fart" should be the title
I got the album because I enjoy her other work. I don't have any kids (yet) but when I do, I'll be sure to let them have a copy. However, I can't imagine how old they will have to be to understand half of what she is saying. This album sounds like everything else she's put out - usually just Kimya singing with some backup vocals (some kids and baby's in this album),...

1.0 out of 5 stars Soooo bad!
I just did not enjoy this album! I really wanted to like it - I like edgy kids music! I let my kids hear "adult language" in music - really, I wanted to like this. It's just not good at all though. Save yourself and listen to the samples first. If you can manage to enjoy it, you get points from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Alphabutt, Poop, Pee, and Fart" should be the title, October 17, 2008

I got the album because I enjoy her other work. I don't have any kids (yet) but when I do, I'll be sure to let them have a copy. However, I can't imagine how old they will have to be to understand half of what she is saying. This album sounds like everything else she's put out - usually just Kimya singing with some backup vocals (some kids and baby's in this album), usually just a guitar and maybe some light drums and kazoo's, etc. That's not a bad think, just a fact.

The reason why I said "Alphabutt, Poop, Pee, and Fart" should be the title is because, well, this album uses the words like "poop" and "pee" many, many times in a humorous way that I think kids would love. Lines like "'P' is for Panda Peeing and Pooping in her Potty while Papa Plays Peekaboo." I'm 25 and I find it funny and entertaining.

If you have kids, an immature sense of humor, or simply like extremely different, humorous music, buy this album!

My sons, ages 5 & 6, absolutely LOVE this disc. They insist on it everytime we are in the car! I love it too..... we know all of the lyrics and sing together. If you are sick to death of Disney music, you HAVE to get this.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Kids Love Alphabutt, April 17, 2009
This review is from: Alphabutt (Audio CD)
Thank you Kimya and Friends for creating this great cd! My kids love the catchy tunes, and so do I. The songs are clever, funny, and real. My almost 3-year-old keeps singing "pee-pee in the potty ... " which I am hoping is a hint that using the potty is coming soon! I find myself humming the tunes while shopping, even without my kids around. A few are truly moving. If you love being a parent, you'll love this cd. Great job Kimya and Friends!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for rowdy little 5 year old boys!, January 3, 2009
This review is from: Alphabutt (Audio CD)
My 5 year old son would much rather run, jump and play outside than listen to music of any kind EXCEPT when it comes to this CD! He loves it and thinks the songs are hilarious. He plays it over and over again and has learned most of the lyrics in a little over 2 weeks' time. Her songs are energetic and upbeat, and her subject matter (e.g. pee, poop) captivates pre-school aged children and the young at heart alike (my 19 year old college freshman son is entertained by her lyrics as well). My husband was a little concerned that our young son would start repeating some of the lyrics at preschool but the words on this CD are no more alarming than those contained in the new preschool classics "Walter the Farting Dog" by William Kotzwinkle, Glenn Murray, and Audrey Colman and "Everyone Poops" by Taro Gomi and Amanda Mayer Stinchecum. In sum, this CD is a BIG HIT! I would highly recommend it to anyone with small children, especially those with rambuctious little boys! -- Mother of 3

My kids, 5 and 6, think this CD is great. I'll admit I find myself singing the songs too; they're quite catchy. You can probably guess from the title, but if you don't appreciate bathroom humor, you might want to skip this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Fun!, March 2, 2009
This review is from: Alphabutt (Audio CD)
I love this CD. It's so much fun!!! My daughter is too young to appreciate the lyrics right now, but I'm sure she''l love it when she's older. It's the kind of silliness that children get a kick out of. To say that it's vulgar is ridiculous, lighten up!

3.0 out of 5 stars Funny, but not for kids of all ages., January 6, 2009
This review is from: Alphabutt (Audio CD)
There are some fun songs on the cd, alphabutt uses the "fart" word that may not be for all families. Then there are songs for younger children like "pee-pee in the potty". Overall, there are a few good songs. "Alphabutt" is good for middle schoolers, they find it helarious!
