While Alphas' Mate has super smoking hot love scenes it also has a nicely developed storyline and will be enjoyed by all who are interested in this genre.

Lars, Damien, Seth, and Wes Tougarret are all half brothers sharing the same father. They are also the Alpha of their respective were packs. All of the men made a visit to their grandmother together, and it took everything in them to keep from killing each other. They tried very hard to present a united front to their ailing elderly grandmother that they all adored, but it was difficult at best. As it got closer to Eleanor's birthday party, she tried once again to talk to her grandson's about uniting their packs. Her pleas fell on deaf ears until her surprise birthday guest arrived. Lacey Roberts arrived to spend time with her godmother, but was confronted with four dark dangerous sexy men claiming she was their mate. Lacey was just visiting Eleanor for a few days, but these arrogant men told her she was never going to leave. She felt a sizzling attraction to each one of them, and while that fact frightened her, the men's dominant attitudes infuriated her.

The ironic twist of fate that handed Lars, Damien, Seth, and Wes the same mate had them stupefied. They realized immediately that they were going to have to drastically change their lives to revolve around the woman that would be a mate to them all. They knew they were going to have to reign themselves in until Lacey got to know them and the ways of their pack, or she would be frightened and run. The brothers found themselves in new territory of getting to know each other better, and for once trying to act, as brothers should. They had no choice because no one was willing to give her up.

When Lacey found out the story behind her mates, she was shocked. She had been told stories of werewolves her entire life, but until she saw it for herself, she had believed it to be a fairytale.

Okay I will try to be real here as I am reviewing a hot and erotic book about a woman who ends up mated with 4 very sexy werewovles.

Firstly let me say...I loved Lacey the female lead in this book. I adore her. I love her moods, her personality, how she handles the men, her independance, her defiance, her love to her Godmother...okay you get it, I really really like her. She wasnt a wimpy brat allowing the 4 men to bully her. I like that.

The writing was simple and uncomplicated and it is a good story. Afterall you are not buying this book to absorb the Great American novel right. lol

I liked how Leah Brooke can almost make you believe that an arrangement with 1 female and 4 males could actually work (and add in the werewolf thingy too)

Hot and sexy and I generally really enjoyed reading the story.

I do not often review many books on here, but I have read this one so many times over that I feel I owe it to Leah to add a good review. I really love this book. Unlike so many erotic menage books Leah manages to really capture each man's unique personality. They are not all lumped together and I felt like I really got to know them. I also loved Lacy, she was just awsome, nothing else needs saying. Thats my opinion, for what its worth.

Lacey decides that visiting her godmother will solve two different issues; it will get her out of town, where things are a bit explosive (due to her helping a woman escape an abusive spouse), and will let her see one of her favorite people in the world. What she doesn't expect is to have an instant attraction to all four of her godmothers' grandsons. But her shocks are far from over. Apparently all four of the men (Lars, Damien, Wes and Seth) are laying claim to her as their mate, and they aren't just human. Lacey is about to find out what it is like to be pursued as a mate of an alpha werewolf.

Just as Lacey is trying to figure out how to deal with all of this not only does her past catch up with her but apparently someone either in her mates' packs or in a rival pack wants her dead.

Will the men be able to live with sharing a mate? Will Lacey be able to accept all four men? And can they keep her alive?

As usual Leah Brooke has written a super erotic and interesting story in Alpha's Mate. I found Lacey to be a fun and interesting woman who knows what she wants and who she wants to protect in life, that is until her world is turned upside down. Ms. Brooke does a find job in setting the plot line as well as intertwining the lives of her characters together. I loved the grandmother and her interactions with all of the men and Lacey. While Alphas' Mate has super smoking hot love scenes it also has a nicely developed storyline and will be enjoyed by all who are interested in this genre.

There are really no words to describe this one. Actually there are, but I will attempt to hold my tongue.

This book is the worst book I've read this year. One woman is the mate to not one but four half brothers. Who are all Alphas. I found myself wondering if this author could make this work. No she couldn't. For one thing all of the characters in this have no depth to them. There is nothing that resonates with you. While all brothers who have different names of course, appear to be different, they aren't. From how closely they resemble one another in human form, to their wolf forms. You get no interesting or heartfelt plot here at all. The dialogue as well as the execution of this one is simple at best. The "Drama" or "Suspense" was lacking in all areas of this one. All the major issues that were suppose to serve as the foundation for this story in the first place, were resolved with little to no effort or hardships, that would be required to make this story believable. The only true reaction that I found myself having was the constant need to roll my eyes until my head hurt.

The sex: completely unsexy (is this even a word?) well it will have to do. No feelings behind the act, just mechanics. This one was trying to come off as erotic, but missed it's mark completely. Honestly, I've read smut with more imagination & depth to it.

I would not recommend this read. I read alot of reviews saying it was great and awesome. But I have to ask myself "Did we read the same book?"
But to each his own. If you really must read this one I would recommend you borrow it. Not buy it.
