4.0 out of 5 stars Alpina 3 Pin Touring Boot
Nice boot. Very comfortable. Does not cinch up as tight around the ankles as I would like. Good boot for lighter XC sking. I want a stiffer boot for getting off the trail. Received this boot in 2 days from [...] ordered through Amazon.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sole starting to pull apart
I've had these boots for less than two seasons, and skied on them less than 20 times. The sole/binding at the front of the boot is now starting to separate from the top section of the boot where my foot is. Also, the lacing system is poor--I end up retying my laces multiple times while skiing and the top lace hooks should be deeper to hold the laces in them better...

1.0 out of 5 stars Sole starting to pull apart, February 6, 2010
I've had these boots for less than two seasons, and skied on them less than 20 times. Also, the lacing system is poor--I end up retying my laces multiple times while skiing and the top lace hooks should be deeper to hold the laces in them better.

That being said, I like my old-school skis and bindings and I know how hard it is to find 3-prong boots these days.

Good 75mm boot, but the sole on my boots started to separate at the toe after just a few uses.

These boots are great! I ordered a size 42, which is supposed to be equate to a woman's size 10 and it was true to size. The boots are affordable compared to other brands, and so far so good. My toes didn't even get cold which is amazing.

I ordered this product on a monday night, they shipped it same day, and I got it wednsday even though I chose 3-5 day shipping. The boot its self is well built and very well insulated. You dont even have to where thick socks. After this experience I would definately use Back Country again.

These boots were shipped very quickly and the order was filled correctly. The boots are warm and very comfortable. I ordered on the larger size, and they are just right, so they may run a little small. I could fit one medium thick wool sock in them.

2.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable but poor quality., January 16, 2012

There are limited choices available for the 75mm 3-pin boots. I purchased these last year and noticed the third time I put them on that one of the lace grommets was falling off where the stitching had come out. Very disappointing quality.

This review is from: Alpina Blazer 75mm Cross Country Ski Boots 2012 (Misc.)
I was happy to bye Alpina Blazer Cross Country Ski Boots, because they match with 75 mm Nordic Bindings on my skies. The boots are rather light in weight and very comfortable. I started use them since winter 2011 and hope they wil serve me two-three years more. Thank you. Paul. Pittsburgh, PA

5.0 out of 5 stars Great boots, February 12, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
They were very comfortable and warm! I threw out my old boots when I moved and then realized most new boots were innies and not outies. Thank goodness you had these Alpina boots because they were perfect and I didn't need to buy new skis, bindings and poles for a sport I do a few times a year at most!
