Very happy with its performance. I have a BOYO camera on my other vehicle. It's terrible. Alpine hit the mark with this camera. Quality throughout. Definitely worth the money. You cannot go wrong with this rear view camera.

I am very picky to camera performance and originally was somewhat skeptical of this C105 capability to perform under different conditions outside the car. After using this unit for 4 months with Alpine Ina-W900 GPS Nav Unit, I am impressed with its performance. For cameras most difficult environment is darkness. Especially small cameras have a tiny CCD or CMOS sensor that makes it very difficult to make it sensitive to light (because of small sensor light sensing area). This camera is impressive. When you back out in dark, you can see surrounding area illuminated by your rear light and brake light to a degree that on the screen it looks similar to a sunset, not complete darkness. Rear light of vehicle illumination is sufficient to see very well (much better that even looking in car mirrors!). So I am really impressed. Daylight performance is very good. Sky looks blue, exposure is controlled well. Wide angle aspect of camera is also very good. Mounted at licence plate level on Buick Rendezvous, you can see area at bumper line below and sky at the same time.

I had purchased an Alpine INA-W900 and wanted a backup camera to go with it. Although this was not the direct fit camera i had also bought the license plate bracket specifically for this camera figuring that it would be an easier setup. Install was pretty simple..just figuring out how to route it was the hardest part. It's installed on an 05 Subaru STI and was a little tricky running the wires. But it's a good product and haven't had any problems so far. The camera does not fog up and has not got any water in it even when washing my car with pressure washer. Highly recommended.

Put this in my car hooked up to a Kenwood HU, the picture is almost DVD quality i kid you not. Pluged right in, i drilled a hole in my trunk right next to the license plate to mount it, running the wires is the most difficult part of the job.
