i use mine with 8 pioneer ts-d6802r, (60rms each) and this amp produces 150 rms x4 at 2 OHMS, the sound is amazing, te quality is great, it never over heat or turn off for hi-temp, even if you use it at 80% power for more than 4 hours, slim design and low weight item, i really recommend it.

Great power for my Polk db components,

I got this amp to drive 4 sets of Polk db component speakers. The Alpine amp provides excellent, clear amplification. And I'm not talking about just high-hats and bass drums; this amp will carry the spectrum from vocals to guitar, trumpets to cellos, with excellent clarity. Also It will drive the Polks nice and clear far beyond ear-damaging levels. I wish I could tell you what the limits of this amp are but they cannot be reached in any practical application.
If you are looking for an amp to drive your high power, quality component speakers, this amp is a sure bet to fit the need.

Frequency cut-offs for tweets is a concern for full active,

The amp itself is sweet. High RMS per channel.
But Frequency cut-offs for tweets is a concern for full active. I wanted to take out my passive crossover for my tweets, but frequency cut is not enough for tweets. |
