If you dont want to go deaf, this isnt the amp for you... But if you do, read on. I have this thing paired with one 12" type x and its absolutely astounding the sound level they put out! DO IT DO IT DO IT!!! Cant beat the price of it on amazon either, i tried for months.

I have this hooked up to a Boston SPG555, and it is ridiculously loud. This is in a Pontiac Grand Am too.... It's amazing, and I recommend this amp to anyone who wants to have a loud car.

everything is easy to hook up and adjust, the amp looks good and the light looks good when powered on, it puts out a lot of power, im just breaking in my type x right now and it hits hard and not turned up half way

Love the Alpine M1000 amp. It's a mono amp, matched with an Alpine Type X 12" subwoofer in a ProBox enclosure (vented). Very happy with the sound quality and the thump that it adds. Price was great. Saved big $ by going through Amazon. Only risk is that the dealer is not an authorized Alpine dealer, so no warranty.

Gets hot, but has not turned off on my yet. Perfect amp for 2 Alpine Type Rs. Makes me car blow up!!!

For the price this amp is awesome. I paired this up with two Alpine type R's in a sealed box and WOW. I listen to rock and the hit is enough to rattle my eardrums. Recently a friend put in a rap CD and I couldn't even see out the rear view mirror. My with my car the box is in a sealed trunk so if you have a hatch back or SUV the bass could be hard to bare, (if you are light hearted in the ears).

I bought one of these off of someone on Craigslist and all i can say is well worth the money. I have it running one type r 12 and its bumps. I'd recommend this to anyone. Mine gets a lil warm but nothing comes of it so it doesnt bother me.

Awesome amp i gave it four stars because it wasnt what i expected... might be great with 1 type R... but i have a type X and it just doesnt push it enough. but it is an awesome amp with VERY clear sound so its not the senders fault

Its pretty good...it will provide the power, but it can overheat very easily. If i had a "re-do" i would probably go with a kicker amp. Although it may just be my setup. I have two of these mrp 1000s and one jl 6 channel amp. It may just be a little too much for my electrical to handle.

Bought this amp for my son. Everytime I ask him what he has it set at he says the lowest level. It will really produce.
