let me start by saying that 100watts is the minimum wattage they will let this amp pass with! each comes with a birth certificate and mine actually is 123RMS @ 4ohms :D

this thing is a power house, every clear, and dependable. i am running these with type r components and coaxials and they are perfect together. i can not turn up my radio past 24(out of 40) with out my ears starting to hurt.

my system consist of the following:
Pioneer AVH-P5200DVD head unit.
Memphis PR.1000.1 running
Alpine SPR-17C
Alpine SPR-17S
Alpine PDX-F4
2 Alpine SWR-1222D

I don't even know where to start. The RMS on my birth certificate is 123w per channel. I upgraded from an audiobahn 600w amplifier and the sound quality does not compare. The Alpine PDX F4 makes my Type S speakers sound amazing.

The only con I have with it is the price but I figured it would pay off in the long run since I can take it car to car.

Definitely more than satisfied with this purchase. I would recommend it to everyone.

What else to say but wow. This this is amazing. It is crazy how they can stuff all that technology into such a small package, but they sure did! It is so clear it is like hearing my music for the first time. I loved my Phoenix Gold Amps, but this is a whole 'nother beast. <3 Alpine!

Great digital amp. I installed it into a 2003 GMC Yukon, under middle seat, no problems. It was installed with Alpine head unit and type-R Alpine speakers. The sound from this amp is really really good. The controls for quiesent frequency and gain are easy to adjust. It's amazing how much power Alpine packs into such a small package. The great thing about this amplifier is that it is very energy effieicnt, so it doesn't load your battery down as much as the older (Class A/B) amplifiers. The resultling sound is crisp clear and powerful.

Are you kidding me at this price this item was a steal.
I have always loved alpine head units but i could never talk myself into buying a alpine amp due to the high price so I figured I would just buy a cheap amp and that should do the trick, Until now I decided to by all apline in my 93 ford ranger exept for the subs. SO this is what I put in the truck, 2 pairs of alpine spr-57c speakers witch put out 100rms ,alpine cda 105 head unit, pdx-f4 amp and one 8" bazooka bass tube with built in 100w amp, I only put the bass tube in there because there is no room for real subs in this truck,
but let me tell you this, The clarity in my truck is unbelievable it has such a crisp sound, If i only had to say one bad thing about this system it would have to be DONT PUT A BASS TUBE in your car or truck GET REAL SUBS other then that the system sounds grrrrrrreat .This amp was put through a beating when i got it ,I was playing all types of music from rock,electronic,country,R&B,rap for about 3 hours non stop and it did not go out at all. let me tell you for such a compact amp this alpine pdx-f4 will put out alot of power ,Great item to buy

let me just say that this amp ROCKS! birth sheet was 120rms! i have it hooked up to 2 sets of 6-1/2 Component System (INFINITY PERFT61) and an Alpine CD Player MP3 CDW AAC WMA USB - CDA117. This amp makes the perfects scream and thump. I even took a 8 hour road trip and jammed the entire time without cuttin off! The gain is set at about a quarter of the way and i dont need it any higher. Worth every penny! Dont settle for ghetto, get quality!

Pros-
easy takeout! amp comes with clips makes for quick n easy wire removal
clean look! no ugly knobs on the outside with a nice blue led glow!
PLENTY of power!
Built in failsafe shut off my amp after it recognized a factory short in my crossover! clever little thing!

Cons-
price, but completely worth it.
if you need to adjust your gains, it takes an allen wrench and 10 minutues

My installer tried to convince me to go analog for "warmer" sound. I did some surfing around and reviews were saying that was true 10 years ago, but the digitals are very good these days. I replaced an underpowered analog with this Alpine unit and I am very impressed. Great little amp, great sound.

i purchased the ALPINE PDX-F4 AND ALPINE PDX-M6, i have to say neither one came with the "birth certificates" or tested report on prior reviews stated on this site, i sincerelly hope i dont have something to worry about as these statements were a big influence in my decision to purchase these units, so far i am disappointed, lets see what happens after these units are installed. update to follow...

at the end the outcome was satisfactory, i did receive comunication from the seller and the issues were worked out. Thanks for your input Amazon.
