Runs with my Alpine F550 4 channels amp, and the quality is perfect, with great presence of all instruments. The player is an Alpine too, and the cables are Monster 201. I really like quality, and I was wondering to buy a Diamond kit, but it was too expensive, so I decided to buy this Alpine SPR 13S, and it was the best option considering the amount invested. I consider this purchase the best value for money in this category of investiment and sound project I have done.

This speaker system sounds excelent, ive hooked it up to a 4ch 1000w boss amp and it sounds terrific. The bass sounds really good for being a 5 1/4" speaker and the highs never distort... I really recommend this system although ive never heard other brand speakers so I have nothing to compare... But still is Alpine, it will never let you down xD...
One thing I particulary found interesting was the tweeters have like an adjustable surface that you can point it to where ever you want depending on where you placed it so it goes directly to your ears, pretty nice I think...

If you plan to put alot of power into your system these are great. If you are just looking to improve your system I might consider going with the S series instead.

I have these and a set of 6x9's running off a 4 x 100W Alpine and they don's start sounding good until I crank the radio to 75%... Once they are loud they sound beautiful but I think I should have gotten the S series. Live and Learn...
