Plastic Shoes Give My Feet The Blues....
on March 4, 2014
This may not be apparent, because of the way this listing describes the shoe. And a search on the web finds the shoe to be similarly (and falsely) misrepresented.
These are vinyl shoes. Vinyl shoes do not breathe. This is more important for men than women typically. My feet come out of these shoes smelling like rotten cheddar cheese.
They should clearly say these have "Man Made Uppers". Instead they say it has a leather lining, and another listing says it has a leather insole.
If you are careful enough to scroll down and carefully examine the extended description you will see they have "faux" leather uppers, which is vinyl crap.
As a result, the shoes do not last or break in. Leather breaks in, gets softer and expands over time. Vinyl does not.
The only advantage of this shoe is that it is more waterproof because vinyl is more waterproof. Unfortunately, because they come apart after minimal use between the sole and the upper, any advantage is lost.
These were in the trash within a month. They do look great out of the box though. The fake leather actually looks somewhat real until you touch it.
At the price, there are plenty of good shoes made from leather. There is NEVER a reason to buy a vinyl shoe, at least not for men.
