I feel compelled to write my first review ever for Amazon. This chair can cause serious pain. The engineer that designed this chair is an idiot. When you reach to end of the arm rest to pull yourself to an upright postion your fingers are pinched. I was content to live with this design flaw until my 80 year old mother got caught in the contraption before I could warn her. I strongly suggest that you buy Lafuma. The original chair of this design that Lazy-Z lounger failed to replicate.
