"O Alquimista" is the inspirational story of a young man's journey to fulfill his dreams. He travels from Spain to Egypt, becomes rich and then loses everything, but then continues his journey to learn alchemy. The theme, that if you know what you want, and you go for it, then the whole universe will conspire to help you get there, is especially positive and moving. This book is a favorite for many, many readers and Coelho fans. It has been read all over the world, and translated into many languages from the original Portuguese.

este foi um dos primeiros livros que eu li em português. a linguagem era simples e o enredo era fácil de seguir. Eu não sou um fã do misticismo dos outros livros de Coelho, mas este tinha um tema mais geral.

I recieved the book from Agrentina here in Brasil Bahia wher people of mine country are very slow. The book arrived as I expected.
