5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and to the point
I'll be honest--this is a NO FRILLS showerhead, not a luxury model. However, it does a number of things very well. It excels with low water pressure, giving a fine sharp spray (that also generates a lot of steam, nice for warming up the shower on a cold morning). 2.0 out of 5 stars wasn't impressed
I bought this based on the reviews of others and was disappointed.

For me the spray was very concentrated into a single area (in retrospect, by looking at the design, I should have guessed) but anyway just so as everyone else is aware, this is highly directional, think garden hose.

Also the holes were so fine, that the water felt more like a mist...

Try disassembling a complex sealed plastic showerhead! Easily worth the extremely low price.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works!, June 1, 2007

If you have low water pressure in your shower, buy this product. It works. Plain and simple in design, it simply works. I went from barely a trickle from my old shower head to a spray that shoots more 6 feet. Pretty strong spray as well.

I was using a shower massage unit until I ran across this at my son's home in Memphis, TN. I couldn't believe the pressure and force this little shower head puts out. It is by far the best shower head unit I have used. I highly recommend it.

On the good side though is that it's well built, it just didn't fit my needs. I ended up going down to ACE Hardware and buying an AquaSource #item36572 1-spray setting wall-mount showerhead instead. It was about twenty bucks and made a huge difference.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than advertised, April 19, 2008

I bought this for my son. He rents an old duplex with one water line being shared by both sides of the duplex. He said that before, the water just dribbled out of the shower. Now he gets a good blast and is very happy with the shower he gets.
Great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very effective, June 20, 2007
By
Grace (Philadelphia) - See all my reviews
My home has low water pressure and the force of the shower, when I first used it, was very disappointing. This showerhead concentrates the flow to make it feel more forceful.

One important note: It feels more forceful ONLY close to the showerhead. Further away it dissipates and is almost mist-like in its fineness. Because my shower arm is so high on the wall, by the time the water reached me, it was taking effort to get my long thick hair thoroughly soaked and more difficult to rinse of shampoo.

However, there is an EASY solution: I called the manuafacturer and they recommended a hinged, adjustable shower arm extension. I immediately purchased one (not their brand) at a local hardware store for around $30.00. Both the shower arm and shower head were very easy to install. It's now positioned close to my head and I love it. It's quite effective at concentrating the flow, the button for turning off the flow temporarily while saoping up or shaving is a convenient feature and I am pleased to use a showerhead that conserves water.

5.0 out of 5 stars incredible head!!, February 24, 2009
This review is from: Alsons 654CPK Standard Style Shower Head, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement)
I love this shower head. It increases the pressure in a big way and feels more like a "steam room" than a shower. It also saves water, which is nice for the environment.

I would recommend this to anybody, although it's not for everybody. It's different than most shower heads, which waste a lot more water. This is more like the shower head you'd see in a gym or public bathroom. Not luxurious, but gets the job done.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, July 29, 2007

I have been using nothing but this kind of shower head since they first came out about 15 years ago. The head breaks the water down into a very fine spray and uses less water than the regular types. I love the feel. A typical head lasts for about two years before it needs replacing. The pressure of the water erodes the water holes and the spray becomes uneven. But at that cheap price, replacement every couple of years is a trivial expense.

5.0 out of 5 stars Are you serious about wanting to save water?, June 11, 2007
This device easily screws into your showerhead and helps save an incredible amount of water. Start the shower by getting the water temperature just right, get yourself wet, and then slide the button to the "trickle" setting. Soap up, and use the "trickle" of water to keep the soap wet, as needed. When you are done soaping up, slide the button back to allow the water to flow at the proper temperature, allowing you to rinse off. You can repeat the process as many times as needed. Where's the water saving? The shower water doesn't run and run the full lenghth of your shower time; it just runs to first get you wet, and then to rinse you off. What are the savings of water? In my experience, I only use about 1/3 the water I would use without the device. The Incredible Head Power Shower Showerhead is inexpensive, easy to install, and very effective! One caution: Make sure that you buy the model that says "with soap-up button for navy showers." -Gary Ciesla, Highland Falls, NY

This review is from: Alsons 654CPK Standard Style Shower Head, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement)
I have tried numerous, much more costly shower heads, and NONE of them even comes close to the quality of spray provided by this small, inexpensive item. No matter how much you decide to spend on a shower head, you will not be able to purchase a better, more effective piece. Plus, it is easy to disassemble (simply using an Allen wrench), so as to clean the inside of the ports. I cannot recommend this item highly enough.
