Incredible water pressure!,

This review is from: Alsons 652 C Incredible Head Power Shower Head, Chrome (Misc.)
I've retrofitted every place I've lived for the past 12 years with this shower head. Yes, I'm glad that they save water, but the main reason I like these shower heads is that they deliver an incredible amount of water pressure and make for an excellent shower.
As others have said, the water comes out as a powerful, but fine mist rather than multiple streams. Some people with extremely hard water have said that the holes start to clog after a time, but I've never had a problem with mine even with moderately hard water. You can always replace the head fairly cheaply, but you can also easily clean it by soaking the head in a little CLR or Limeaway in order to eat away the scale. I can't recommend this highly enough. It's a product with improved performance that just happens to be environmentally friendly. If you're stuck trying to find a stocking stuffer, this is a quirky but useful choice!

Saves Water, Money and Convienent Too!,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The on/off valve on this is GREAT if you want to have an easy way to turn off the water when you're in the shower while you're soaping up or shaving. It saves a ton of time so you don't have to readjust the water temperature, especially if you've got hot and cold knobs in the shower like I do. The water slows down to a trickle, which is handy if you're shaving because it keeps you from accidentally rinsing the gel off of your skin, and you still have the trickling water to rinse off your razor with.
I've recently moved out of an apt. complex and hot water was included in the rent. It's shocking to see how much higher my electricity bill is just by adding a water heater. So in addition to the convienence of the on/off valve, it helps you easily cut down on the amount of hot water you use and saves you money. It's good for septic systems because it creates less sewage. Reducing the amount of water you use in the shower is great for the environment too. This little shower head also produces a lot of water pressure, and makes a lot of steam somehow. It's great all around. 5 stars.
