I have a pair of these and they are not bad footwear. Decent sole and tread, comfortable and have a nice look. Thin soft leather. Haven't tried to shine them up.

I've worn altamas for going on 7 years now. They don't fit like jungles or altama's traditional combat boots.

They are a decent shoe. I've worn them all over Verona and walked around pompeii in them. I wouldn't wear them on a ruck march, but i would wear them in town.

If only they were made in the USA.
