5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!!!!!
The sound is incredible. I was surprised at the weight of it as well. The fitting is cool. May feel loose who are used to wearing earphones.
Definitely recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not $41 good.
I jumped at these headphones seeing as how they were $8 compared to the original price on amazon of $41. The packaging and build quality are visually pleasing. The sound quality is pretty good, but didn't blow my mind. I have a pair of maxell behind the head phones that cost about $20 and these are pretty much equal to the quality of those. Still not bad for the cost of...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Altec Lansing UHP303, March 3, 2011
This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP303 Behind-The-Neck Ear Clip Headphones (Electronics)
The Altec Lansing UHP303 is my best Behind-The-Neck Ear Clip Headphones,

I've been reading the reviews on these and I've done my homework. The sound quality is very good.

* Titanium Metal Headband
* Best of all Carrying Case Included, I keep my CD player in there as well.

I would say they are well worth the money I paid for them ($19.99) back in December 2010, just 2 days ago I got an email from a friend that it's for sale for only $9.99 I ordered 4 more to give them out as gifts,

it's very nicely packaged, looks like a $39.99 headphone.

Still not bad for the cost of $13 with shipping. The worst part of these headphones is the plastic bars that hold the headphones on your ear. These things are fairly sharp and after about 10 mins of being on my ears irritate area these bars are touching and that is from only sitting down. Perhaps after filing down the sharp edges these will be a bit more comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars For this price really can't complain, March 3, 2011
This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP303 Behind-The-Neck Ear Clip Headphones (Electronics)
Bought this for myself, when my old pair of some no name brand company broke after 2 days of use. Really seems to do the trick, nice sound, pretty comfortable, and extremely light weight. And the price was perfect, wasn't looking to spend too much money in the first place. All in all it's a pretty solid piece.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so good, September 14, 2011

I purchased this product to use with my iPod Classic 80GB, after putting them on they got stuck on the computer desk tray and tore the cord where the volume control is. These are extremely flimsy headphones. I was moving slowly and this is not the first time this has happened, but its the first time I've seen headphones break so easily. BEWARE!

Love these headphones, the sound quality is excellent. Best headphones I've owned so far. The quality of the product is also excellent. I use them when running and working out at the gym. They are light and comfortable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent sound and comfort, September 7, 2011

I purchased one set of these when they went on sale recently, and I was so impressed with the sound level and comfort for the price (~$9) I ordered 2 more. They work really well for working out, with this design if your music is not too loud you can easily hear what is going on around you. The frequency response is really impressive at this price point.

The comfort is nice, they are almost like the "clip" style headphone that run in the $20-30 range, but the addition of the metal band behind the head really helps retain them during activity. They do not clamp onto your ears hard enough to cause any discomfort after up to an hour in my experience.

They come with a carrying case, but in the case they are a little more bulky than you might expect. The soft foam and fabric case does an adequate job of protecting them in a gym bag.

The only problem I have had is with the volume slider, on all 3 of the headphones, the slider does not work properly. The volume does not lower in a linear fashion, but as you push it down it randomly drops large amounts at certain points. Since the value is so good, I just treat the volume slider as a convenient "mute" button and control the volume with my mp3 player.

1.0 out of 5 stars one month and already broken, June 27, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP303 Behind-The-Neck Ear Clip Headphones (Electronics)
I bought these a month ago and they've already stopped working properly. There is a loose connection in the jack portion that makes it so that they cut out most of the time. Very annoying. Don't buy these headphones, they are not durable at all!

2.0 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable fit, causes pain and irritation behind the ears, June 8, 2011
This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP303 Behind-The-Neck Ear Clip Headphones (Electronics)
If you cant use a headphone for more than 30 minutes without having the plastic scrape your ear and cause you pain and irritation, its a useless product no matter how good the sound is. The curved plastic that holds the ear pieces is hard and it irritates the ears. There should have been padding on it.

There are applications where this style would work. Once I tried them I realized the behind the neck style was not conducive to my needs. Sound quality is fine for inexpensive headphones. The unit appears to be quite sturdy.
