Not the best, If I'm honest. The midrange spoils what could have been a good pair of headphones.,
This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP304 AirFit On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
Because they retail at quite a high price (they've now come down in price) I thought that they would rival, if not better the c-jay, Sennheiser PX100/200 & new HD238, the iGrado, and Denon AH-P372 of which I own all of the above. Put simply, they're don't!There is a reason for that, and that's the appalling midrange. It's slow and ponderous at best, which is a shame because the bass is good and the highs are well extended. Put into that the fact that the build quality and design is rather quite special, it's a shame that it falls at the last hurdle. I good pair of headphones at a bargain price? Maybe. However, unfortunately the more established group will fly past them... which is a shame!

I don't know much about electronics but when I saw these advertised for a big discount (should have been a clue!) and I needed new headphones, I thought they would be good quality because of the original list price. The sound quality is passable. I feel like somethings missing, it's not a rich or full sound. The fit of the headset is uncomfortable, even painful after awhile. They don't cup the ears at all and the slide adjustment is too loose. I liked my old $10 ones better but these will do until I can find those again.

HEAR IT TO BELIEVE IT!!,
This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP304 AirFit On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
I've never owned a set of headphones that I was totally happy with until now. These are by far the best headphones I've ever bought, and I was just floored by how good some of my favorites sound on these headphones. I just hear so much more.

The best value for money,
This review is from: Altec Lansing UHP304 AirFit On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
I bought this headphone in August 2008. I was really quite fascinated by the sound quality. Well I am aware of Altec Lansing speakers but I never came across the headphones. This is the best headphone for 26$.

Good clean sound, not great - but acceptable for price. Very uncomfortable on head - waaaay tooo tight. Wire broke after 9 months use at office. Will not buy another Altec Lansing product

I bought these because they were on sale and mine had recently broken. I also really wanted some noise cancellation because I like to hear my music, not my music plus the tv and everything else. They are amazing and I would definetely recommend them to you!!

The sound on these is okay. Definitely commensurate with what I paid... not sure what some people are expecting when it comes to cheap headphones. But boy are these uncomfortable! The problem kicks in when wearing this set for a "prolonged" period of time (approximately an hour - maybe less), after which my ears are aching from the pressure caused by the metal band holding the earpieces against my ears. Making this set virtually unusable, and destined for a life of darkness in my big box of junk.

Poor quality cord construction, not particularly comfortable, sound quality good,

I picked this one up when it showed up on slickdeals. The cords consist of thin wires inside of a loose woven sheath. The sheath was not attached to the volume slider in the middle of the cord, and the wires pulled loose after only a week or so. I had to cut the slider out, and reconnect all the wires, which was kind of a pain. The headphones are the on-ear style, and as often happens with these, they are not particularly comfortable when worn for long periods of time. The sound quality is pretty good.

These are cool looking, and I like the inline volume control. Comes with a nice storage bag. But I did not find them very comfortable, especially when wearing my glasses. But on the other hand, I am very picky....Sound quality is ok. Typical of $20-ish headphones. No miracles here, but not lousy either.

Nothing special, ok to have if you need for regular use with tight budget,

You get what you pay for. Nice built quality, good bass, but thats pretty much it. Dont spend the money unless you just need something to listen to music from your mp3 player or laptop. Go with a noise cancellation one if you could afford to.
