I especially like the in-line mic and volume control, essentials for cellphone users - the microphone seems to work well for calls.

Found these on Amazon on a super deal - almost 90% off, and snatched them up. For those with an iPhone/iPod, these are a VAST improvement over the standard earbuds. You will see reviews of these earphones (or a similar model) that will complain about a lack of bass; this is because getting the right FIT is essential to get the best sound. The buds come with 3 different silicone tips for different-sized ear canals. The goal is to get a nice tight "seal" so the sound really resonates in-ear.

Once you get the fit right, these sound GREAT. Highs and mids are clear and bright. I hear breaths, whispers, and layers in my music I had not noticed before. Bass is not overpowering but definitely very smooth and strong - for those who like it skull-rattling, these may not be for you. To me, rock & hip-hop sound great on these, like actual music, not some semblance of music overpowered by the bass line.

Noise isolation, while not complete, is very good. I've had to learn to look around me a lot more when walking on the street; I just don't hear the noise of cars, talking, doors opening, etc. that provide cues to keep from running into people!

I especially like the in-line mic and volume control, essentials for cellphone users - the microphone seems to work well for calls.

The only downside is that after an hour or two I have to rest from listening due to ear discomfort - not hearing damage, but just some soreness around the outside of the ear canal. I'm considering some of those replacement foam tips which are supposed to be more comfortable.

Overall, thumbs up - they've drastically improved my music listening experience!

... I purchased these on sale for $14.95. For the price, they were great. I needed something that could perform just like my iPhone 3G earphones. I would not pay anymore than 20-25 bucks for these. So, I don't think they're worth the price they're currently at. Especially when there are better quality earphones that are out there for the current price of 60-something dollars, that would offer better quality and in some cases you could find wireless earphones, with mic to answer calls with. One user claims that the sound quality was awful, but I've heard worse and the fact that they give you multiple ear pads give you the ability to change the baffle going into your ear.

I thought this headset was very immersive. The ear piece stock/medium ones work fine for me and is pretty much the same size as headsets that only come with one size.

I like it because I can plug these guys into my old phone to talk to friends, then plug into my MP3 player with the adapter to listen to music. The cord isn't that crappy plastic cord, either. It's one of those new cloth-like cords that doesn't know or tear as easily.

The only downsides: you have to make sure that have THOROUGHLY plugged the adapter piece into the main cord, or the sound is awful. But as long as everything is plugged it right, they work great. Also, there is a talk button in one place in a mute/volume button in another. I get why they set the buttons up like this, but it is a little confusing.

They do rustle a little bit, but all in-ear headphones I've ever had do.

These earphones are absolutely terrible. Although the build quality is solid, the sound quality is really bad (serious lack of bass) and they are very uncomfortable to wear. Would have sent them back but it just seemed like a lot of effort for the price paid. I've never reviewed an item on Amazon previously, but these are so disappointing that I thought I'd try to save someone else the heartache.

I've looked far and wide for earphones that have a MUTE switch for the microphone! No more fuddling around with my phone to go on/off mute during conference calls in noisy locations! These probably aren't a headset for an audiophile that wants super high quality sound, rich bass, etc. For me, they serve a purpose and they serve it well.

However, WATCH OUT for sellers who sell the re-branded VERIZON version of this headset that has a 2.5mm plug instead of the factory original 3.5mm plug! DirectDeals4U did that to me - and I had to get a refund from Amazon because they refused to help me out.

I ended up buying from eBay after getting my refund from Amazon.

Overall not bad. What you would expect for $20. I travel a lot and I wanted a sturdy set of ear buds. These seem like they will hold up well. The sound is OK but lacking bass.
