Great, unless you intend to use your ipod touch...works with older ipods,

This is great. The only problem is that it doesn't work with the new ipod touch...AND isn't that what most teens have????
Anyway, it will play the music from touch, but it will NOT charge or play video. Had to buy my daughter an older ipod video, so she could what her videos on it!

My girlfriend has been looking for an iPOD dock since she heard a friend's AL imT620. I actually bought this without knowing anything: No reviews, no sound check at local store, no nothing. Wow right out of the box this thing amazed us both. Initially I was sitting to the side of it and the sound was great. When I got up and moved to the front of it I was impressed. It does have bass and treble control. OK not having the Bose or any other $200+ system to compare it to side by side I will stick by my belief that the sound is just as good. Full, rich with solid bass for the size.
Cons: If you are looking for a radio not this model. It's not portable in that there is no handle. Pros: Sound with bass. You can use it to watch videos from your iPod on a TV. It plays other MP3 players. Pretty sure you can plug in a DVD player though we haven't tried that.

This unit it not too big but really too big to cart around. It sounds good and looks attractive. It's easy to use.
