It is very hard to slip the laptop in and out of this sleeve. First the sleeve does not open all the way. The plastic see-through "bubbles" feature sticks to the laptop lid. This "sticking" makes it very difficult to get the laptop in and out of this sleeve. I ended up gluing a piece of fabric to the inside of the sleeve that covers the plastic see-through bubbles so that I could easily slip the laptop in and out. Don't waste your money on this product. Wish I could get my money back.

We have used this notebook sleeve for several trips now. You can really leave your computer in this sleeve when you go through security. I highly recommend this product.

I just got this case today for my new netbook. My netbook is an awesome yellow color (the samsung n150) so I was glad to find a case that let me show this off. I like that its more substantial than the average neoprene sleeve, thus allowing for more protection. However, its small enough to put in a purse or a backpack. Two thumbs up!

All in all, this will be good to protect your computer, but it had a yellow tint to the "clear" part and that is why I returned it.

Having just purchased a new laptop, and tired of carrying it around in my bulky and heavy laptop bag, I wanted to upgrade to a laptop sleeve that I could safely carry around in my backpack. This sleeve fit the bill. With a snug fit and the cushioning effect of the air bubbles it was the perfect combination. I now carry my laptop in my backpack and have successfully phased out the use of my heavy laptop case for a protective sleeve. As a side note, there have been a few times my backpack has been on my passenger seat in the car and I've made some very quick stops which causes the backpack (and laptop) to crash to the floor. No damage to the laptop, in this protective sleeve. I have since put the backpack on the floor, but after 3 crashes I can attest to the durability and effectiveness of this case! Buy one, you won't be disappointed!

Pros:Durable, effective, cushions your laptop, colorful, cheaper than anywhere else!

One Suggestion: it would be nice if they came in more colors, but I am happy with pink!

this case works perfect for what I need. I just wanted protect from all the other thigs rattling about in my back pack. The bubbles look neat and all my friend comment they want to pop them (obviously they cant). I havent tried the airport thing but i will next month and will report back. Overall good protection (more than most) but not a hard case.

I have Gelaskin Art on my early 2011 15" MacBook Pro and this is the best way to show it off while provide as good as if not better protection than a neoprene sleeve, although some sleeves do have better edge protection. I am also a little leery if out in the sun or heat too long that the plastic side will stick to my Gelaskin. When I put my speck case on it is a perfect fit into the case but since I don't have a see-through speck case it defeats the purpose. Without a case on there is a little wiggle room, but not enough to concern me. Excellent construction quality and while I haven't tested it yet through TSA I'm looking forward to not taking it out of the case as I travel A LOT!!

It was advertised to fit a 15.6 size laptop. My new ASUS 15.6 U56E didn't fit inside it. It was too small.

Altego's thought about it's customers' needs: sizing (my laptop's an "odd" 14 in.), daily utility (padding vs bulk: perfect for my everyday backpack), special errands(to get through an airport reasonably), and a reasonable price. I'm going to recommend this one widely -- worthy of my first Amazon review.

I was very excited to receive this case because I love the unique design. However, it does NOT properly fit the 15-inch MacBook Pro as promised, so I had to return it. The case was too roomy for my MacBook Pro, and I did not feel like it would provide adequate protection for the computer because there was so much space for it to move around inside the case. Also, while the case is very padded on the front and back sides, the edges of the sleeve provide almost no padding, leaving the sides of your laptop vulnerable to impact. But, this may also be due to the fact that the case did not provide a snug fit for my computer.

Bottom line: It's a really cool case, but it doesn't fit my laptop. If you buy this, and find that it fits your computer, great!
