loved this book,

I loved this book. I own so many altered books and this one had a really nice variety of work. The pictures are not meant to be "cut out" but to be used as examples of work and inspiration. The instructions were clear, photos large and beautiful, and the projects would appeal to many levels of interests and skills. A great addition to my large collection of altered books.

Great but lacks information on products used,

Great book with many, many great ideas to use as a springboard to create altered art. The only problem I found in this book is that they didn't list where to purchase most of the objects used. I fell in love with Deb Trotter's projects - but, there was no information on where to find the materials. If this Jill Haglund does another book, it would really be nice if she would choose projects with complete supply lists.
I know it's one thing to use "found objects", but when it's an integral part of the project, it should be something that's available. I've spent hours looking for the horse found on page 42 - if anyone knows where to find on, please let me know ! Also, I've been on the internet trying to find the cowgirl pictures - I did luck out on that. I do recommend the book, as I said, as a springboard to ideas.

Lovely Images, but you can NOT use them all,

This book has the most delightful papers in it! HOWEVER they are printed on both sides of the page..in other words you can cut out the girl on the front of the page, or the dog on the back, but you can not use both. I called the publisher thinking this must be an error! Why would you want to limit customers to choosing one image over another? All pages should be consumable. The publishers reply was that no one else had complained.
