All the other books out there seem to focus mainly on bridal shower games or bachelorette party games, but this book is dedicated to receptions. My sister got a ton of ideas for games for her cocktail party, dinner, and dance. We also played games from the book at her Sunday brunch. We all had a lot of fun and laughs together and the wedding guests kept saying what a unique and fun time they were having at the wedding. Honestly, I think we owe a lot of the success of the weekend to this book!

There are also sections for bridal showers and bachelorette parties and they aren't the boring repeats you see in other books, which made my maid of honor duties much easier! There's even a special section of kids' games, which would work well if you'll have a lot of kids at your wedding.

Anyway, it's a fun book, easy to read, and full of great game ideas. It would make a great gift or just get it for yourself if you've got some wedding planning to do!

My daughter received this book as a shower gift. It has lots of great games not just for one part of the wedding but for all of it. Dinner games, cocktail party games, stagette games, Sunday brunch games, bouquet toss and garter toss games. It's good because the games take into account the venue. For example, at dinner you're probably sitting and maybe some people don't know each other, so they're sit-down ice-breaker games. Lots of great ideas. None are overly expensive or difficult to organize. There's also a whole wedding trivia section at the back and photocopiable pages so you don't have to make anything yourself. I'm a dad and I still loved this book!

This book has very fun and easy to follow games for the special day. Very creative and hilarious! There is something in here for everyone!
