About the Author
Sohail Jaffer is the chairman of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the chairman of AIMA's Hedge Fund Advisory Group and a member of the International Advisory Committee of the US Managed Fund Association (MFA). He is also a director of Citibank Global Asset Management's Alternative Investment Strategies Group, where he is responsible for investment structuring, sales and distribution of alternative investments to institutional clients in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Citibank in 1989, Mr Jaffer was an audit partner with an international public accounting firm.
