4.0 out of 5 stars Actually I love these & they are better than what I expected!!!
I just read the other reviews and it sucks that the other shoppers had such a hard time of it.

Look I didn't expect a whole lot from these pants, but I ripped open the package this afternoon while I was driving and noticed immediately ....wow these are soooo soft. Got home tried them on and they are sooo cute. For me they fit very comfortably in the butt,...

1.0 out of 5 stars A bit on the thin side
These pants are okay. They are very thin and they shrunk a bit when washed. I like the color, but you can see your skin through the fabric. If you are into the really light feel of a thin material these pants might work for you. As for myself, I believe in full coverage so I will not be buying these pants again.

For me they fit very comfortably in the butt, hugging me, but not tight and then the rest of the pant draped down my leg with lots of room- I'm a petite woman, but not shinny. They look like a combination between a yoga and a sweat pants. The fabric is soft & light weight...for me they will be amazing for lounging around the house or running around town doing errands.

The style is flattering to the butt and hips. They are surprisingly great little pants. I came back on Amazon not to write a review but to order more of these. When I saw that they got such a low rating I wanted to correct that.

I say give these pants a try!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware!, January 3, 2011
For the last 10 years, yoga pants have become a staple of my wardrobe, and for good reason--in fact, I bet many other even mildly active women out there will find my reasons familiar. First, I work from a home office and work out at home as well- on busy days, have to pull out that Pilates/Yoga mat pretty fast and don't have time to change out of jeans, etc. You can even toss on a fitted top (and shoes with a 3-inch heel and over) and be set to go out. Second, the black bootleg or flare cut is very flattering if you are HW/P yet have a healthy, curvy build below the waist. Third, even though I can't afford or justify spending more than $30 a pair tops, they last a long time. I am probably preaching to the choir here but I wanted to convey what I was expecting.

SOOO, with all those things I look for and expect in a pair of at least mediocre bootleg yoga pants (they fit me? My body parts look more or less where they're supposed to be and if I'm lucky, show off the lower-body curves I go out of my way to do an additional 25-minutes of "bun and thigh" mat work on? Not worried anything is going to rip when I stretch my legs or bend over? Then fine, I hit the 1-Click button), these are the most useless, unwear-able pair I have ever made the mistake of purchasing.

I admit that at the time, the big discount lured me in. However, I would tell anyone looking for yoga pants for any or all of the reasons I listed above that a discount is not, I repeat NOT worth it. The fabric was flimsy and cheap-if I'd seen them at Goodwill for less than 5 bucks but even touched the fabric or pulled them out to look at the cut, I'd skip them. They were uncomfortable and so crappily cut I can't imagine even Beyonce pulling them off well. They are not only not cut for a female figure (you know, in at the waist, curve out at the hips to hug them, the most basic things)but the fabric is so crummy, thin, and worst yet has VERY little stretch. Did whoever design these ever even watch someone do a 10-minute yoga or pilates routine? I ask because they were not aware, I guess, that there is a lot of bending and stretching. The waistband barely moves and the drawstring might as well be a stiff shoelace. Even if you're NOT wearing them to work out, just standing up and sitting down in them requires too much adjusting, and that was when I was alone in the house studying. I didn't even consider wearing them in public. The wimpy fabric is unattractive, at least for pants
Also, avoid if you have the pet peeve I do of a manufacturer tossing "Eco" or "Green" into the name of the pants to jump on the band wagon (it is a great band-wagon to jump on and I am all for it, but companies then need to follow through) and instead do not even try to change anything about the garment.

Every other pair of black bootcut flexible pants I've bought via Amazon or in person, has worked for me, some better than others, but I've never been so let down by a pair that I actually took the time to write a review to warn other women away. My sister is in her 40s and weights 95 lbs, built like Audrey Hepburn, so her options for clothing are almost unlimited. I offered them to her, figuring she could make them work. Nope, too uncomfortable for her too-even to garden in, she said. My advice? Just stay away from the whole "Eco-(color)" line. Try the Bella line- comfortable, flexible, and will make your booty and legs look great and are still comfortable enough I'd wear them every day in the winter if I needed to. These will just get on your nerves at best. I'd add a customer photo, but then I'd to leave the review anonymously-they added 10 lbs or so to my weight!

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay for what I wanted., December 1, 2009
This review is from: Alternative Women's Eco-Heather Long Pant (Apparel)
These pants are very thing pants. I would not recommend wearing these any further than your house. My intentions for buying these were not to go out in so they fit me perfectly. They are pretty comfortable and have held up pretty good. Not that bad if you literally want lounge wear.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfy pants for lounge and dance, May 24, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought these pants after having previously bought the light heather gray ones. They are just as comfy as the others! I love them for lounging and dance. I am a size large (5'2" tall, 29" waist and 40" hips) and I bought the large and they fit me well. I am short so they are just a tad long, but I personally like my pants longer! They are not so long that I trip when dancing though! They are good for the price they cost and they are eco-friendly, so why not?!

2.0 out of 5 stars material too thin., November 27, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Alternative Women's Eco-Heather Long Pant (Apparel)
First of all, these pants are thin, very thin. i'm glad i didn't pay $19.99 for them, if i did i'd have paid to return them. So much for eco friendly, they're only 38% cotton. I took the thing out of the bag it came in and there was a long stretch of thread coming out already. is it poorly made or what! I held off buying those DEHA activewear pants at daffys cuz i thought these pants would be equivalent or close in quality. Well, compared to my DEHA pants which are cotton pants with just 2% elastan and more stylish and good enough to hold up in the cold weather,i think these eco pants are best for the summer, considering how thin they are.
Also, these pants are short. if you're above 5feet and 6 3/4" you'll find them quite short. And i weigh less than 120lbs so it isn't like i'm huge in the pants or anything. i got the small and they fit great at the waist, a little snug around my tighs but that's ok. But think about it, how many people at 5'6" are under 120, if i find them snug and a little short for my liking, i wonder what the average person would think when they try these on. if i had to see these in the store before buying them, i wouldn't buy it, and if i had to , i wouldn't pa more than 5 bucks.
If you need super thin pants for the summer, you can try these on. otherwise, good luck.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Comfy!, July 23, 2011
This review is from: Alternative Women's Eco-Heather Long Pant (Apparel)
I love these pants! Yes, they're a little on the thin side, but I ordered the Eco-Black pants, not see through at all! I tend to wear them on "lazy days", and with the heat right now, I can wear them, still be comfortable, and not worry about blinding strangers with my pale white legs! Also, they are long enough that they don't hit me at ankle length like most yoga pants do. I just want to live in these pants!

1.0 out of 5 stars Pants get 5 stars/ Silvermoon gets 1 star, June 23, 2011
This review is from: Alternative Women's Eco-Heather Long Pant (Apparel)
I love these pants! They are a slightly sheer so I don't wear them out in public, but they make great pj's. They are also great to workout in (in your home) because they are so light and breathable.

As for Silvermoon, they would not honor Amazon's sale price and instead charged me over double! I love these pants, but they are NOT worth $33. They gave me some bull-crap about discontinued items being on sale and the one I bought wasn't discontinued. First of all, Amazon said certain colors were on sale (nothing about specific sellers or discontinued items) and I bought one of those colors. Second, the size and color I bought is no longer available and I only ordered it less than a week ago; so it seems to me that it WAS one of the discontinued ones.

Bottom line ... avoid Silvermoon at all costs (pun intended)!

I spent almost $20 b/c of shipping and tax and it WAS NOT WORTH THE PRICE at all! They are practically see through. You have to wear the same color undies for sure. Not thrilled but I needed some pajama pants I guess even though I needed some yoga pants even more.

1.0 out of 5 stars Yoga Pants?, December 14, 2010

These pants are really thin. No yoga pants I've ever had or seen are this thin. If that's what you want, these are the pants for you. If you are expecting regular weight yoga pants, these will disappoint you!
