I've used my Altieri gig bag for over 10 years,

...and it's super-durable. Since I play the flute and piccolo professionally, I carry this bag everywhere. One side pocket is large enough to hold a music folder (or two or three) and the other pocket nicely holds my tuner, metronome and miscellaneous gear. I like my Altieri bag for several reasons:
1.) it is insulated, so I don't have to worry about my instruments being damaged from the weather 2.) it holds everything I need for a rehearsal and/or a show 3.) the black color is perfect for stages with black floors (standard) 4.) the piccolo pocket is inside with the flute pocket and is convenient and protected 5.) as I mentioned, it is super-durable. I have never had any part of the bag rip, tear, come apart at the seams, fray or otherwise be damaged after 10+ years of constant use. It's a great bag! The only reason I wouldn't buy it again would be to purchase the backpack style Altieri bag. With as much as I carry around in it, the weight sometimes pulls at my shoulders. The backpack style might be a little easier on the back and shoulders. Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend this product! |
