I think Altoids are wonderful, and when I heard that they had them in liquorice you know I had to try them! These are great. They have a lovely, mildly spicy flavor, freshen your breath, soothe your sore threat and taste very "natural." Liquorice is known for its healing and calming properties and I can honestly say that these wonderful candies make me feel happy whenever I eat them.

Although not for the faint of heart, these mints are very good and have an authentic licorice flavor. If you're not familiar with the Altoid brand, start with some of the more traditional offerings like cinnamon, spearmint, etc. as an introduction. If you have a palatte for (black) licorice, these Altoids are for you.

the Altoids are a great item to have around for two reasons. They curb nauasea when I was sick and they also are great for nausea any time i get it. Wish they were suguarless but can't have everything.

We love these liquorice Altoids! While they are a very good breath mint, we use them mainly for flavoring our coffee and sometimes, tea. One, in the bottom of the cup, or a few in the coffee/tea pot makes life more interesting! Also, good with just a touch of hot cocoa, added along with Altoids, in coffee. And yes, they are good in hot cocoa, too. Very inexpensive, easy way to flavor coffee or tea, much cheaper than alternative. Almost no calories, but big on flavor! We've used these for decades!

I quit smoking about 3 years ago. The Altoids Liquorice mints helped me kick the habit. It got so that every store I went to stopped carrying the Liquorice flavor. It was great to get them straight from the company. The little bit of postage is well worth having a good supply. Delivery is always prompt and the product is always in great shape!

No mint, pure liquorice (or licorice in the US). I you love liquorice, this is the most powerful version you are likely to encounter. Like their "curiously strong" mints, these are "curiously strong" liquorice. (the only problem I have is what to do with all the empty tins that I've collected.)

Wow - hard to find except on Amazon. Wonderful liquorice flavor, but awfully strong....stronger than I remember. Too bad they can't tone them down just a notch.

But it didn't help me get the girl.

Sent as gift. She loved them, but not the fact I would spend more on the shipping than on the candies. Oh, well.

I have been a long time fan of liquorice both red and black. But it's hard to keep traditional liquorice on hand and not go stale. Altoids, gives me the flavor I like and the long lasting mint in a great storage container.

I buy these for my wife every year. She loves the Liquorice Altoids the best. The price is right and the free shipping with the minimum purchase works out perfectly.
