I have bad knees and thought these would be uncomfortable for me.
I love them and they are so comfy!
Don't know yet about durability.
That piece of leather (which is designed to cover the tip of your toes) does not cover all your toes.... so your toe nails...although properly cut and taken care of ;)... keep getting stuck from inside, at the cloth and leather stitch fold when you walk.
This will be true for walkers who raise their toes with each step.
That piece of leather should have been longer to be cover the toes or shorter to be in front of the toes.
I don't understand why such minor things are not considered during design itself. Why and how I can say this....coz, I worked in the IT team which was for creating the shoe designing software for the largest sport shoe maker. So I kind of know (after working with shoe designers) about the nuances of shape, design, form, material etc.

Glad I bought 3 pairs of them each under $30. These are great for runs under 10 miles. Anything over that I recommend the instincts.Published 14 months ago by Jeremy Castner
They're very comfortable with good ground feel. A little bit of stitching has come out already, I wonder if the rest of the shoe will hold strong... Only time will tellPublished on August 13, 2013 by Josh
My Altra Adams arrived yesterday, so not much to report on durability yet. So far I love them! They are roomy and light weight. Read morePublished on June 20, 2013 by M. Watrous
