It does hold credit cards, ID and other standard size items of the like...barely. It is fairly durable and has not shown any real signs of wear in the month I have owned it.
BUT - unless you truly enjoy folding every bill into precise thirds, you will hate this wallet. Basically, I have to shove my change into a pocket after checking out and then neatly fold it in the car or the wallet will not latch. This is problem because the aluma wallet provides zero friction to your valuables. With only gravity to keep the entire contents of the wallet from ejecting at any time, latching securely is not something you'd want to leave to chance.
I would say the ideal use for this item would be credit card/gift card organizer for a purse, but for day to day use a more conventional wallet would save you some annoyance.

I bought this for my husband. We saw it on TV and my husband, who is hard on wallets wanted one. So I picked one up at the store. I gave it to him. He opened the packaging went to open the Aluma wallet and the "indestructable wallet" broke. The pretty blue aluminum pieces on it came off. WHY because they are held on by STICKY TAPE. And when you went to hit the clasp on the wallet they would pop right back off. Then we looked at the inside. Its cheap flimsy plastic. BIGGEST waste of time and money.
I do not recommend DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CHEAP RIDICULOUS PRODUCT.

The Alumawallet website is like a spiders web. They don't give you an order review page , once you enter your credit card info ,you can't back out of ordering or change anything .The only way to stop the order is to X out of the site altogether. We finally recieved the aluma wallets : very poor quality ,one is already broken. Not worth the time or expense to send back though. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

Garbage

Not Recommended
